Hello all. T minus 9 days until the first day of practice and Corinne and I could not be more excited! 9 days also means you only have 9 days to get me a current physical or unfortunately your daughter cannot start on the 8th. Please send me a current physical if you have not already. If you turned one in to the school last year in the Spring, please let me know the date of the physical (or even better just send me a copy) and I can follow up with Traci when she is back.
The schedule for the first week of practice is M-Th 8:00 - 9:00am AND 4:30 - 6:30pm; that Friday will only be 8:00 - 10:00am. I have included a calendar in pdf that shows all the practice times and game days. The games are subject to change so please make sure to check out https://www.tellurideathletics.com. I will also post all of my communications there in addition to emailing them. You will note on the attached calendar that Friday practices are different than other days once teams are set. C team will practice from 3:30 - 5:00 and the JV/Varsity will practice from 4:30 - 6:30. This is to ensure all teams are getting enough one on one coaching, so they can learn as much as possible this year.
Please mark your calendar, there will be a MANDATORY parent meeting on Monday 8/15. The first part is for all Fall sports and starts at 5:45 in the THS gym. We will then breakout to a THS VB specific meeting to go over Corinne and I’s coaching methodology, expectations, etc. We are anticipating both meetings to be done around 7:00. It is a “Parent” meeting, but the girls should plan on being there too.
